Your Teeth and Dental Bonding

Bonding is a popular method to enhance the aesthetics of your smile. Bonding can be used to correct cracks or gaps in teeth, to cover up stains or discolored teeth and to straighten mildly rotated teeth without the need for braces. A composite tooth colored resin is used on the affected tooth or teeth. After the resin has been applied, an ultraviolet light is used to harden the resin, which is then sculpted and polished. The whole procedure will be completed in just one visit, giving you a fresh new smile. It is a safe, affordable, and attractive solution for many dental problems. If you want to learn more about how dental bonding can work for you, contact us or call for a free consultation at (937) 278-0703.

Root Canal (Endodontics)

Root canal has become a negative term for dental patients to hear, but advances in dental technology have made root canals much less frightening. Our rooms utilize modern, silent rotary files, unlike conventional hand filing, which makes the procedure much more comfortable and a shorter length of time. Local anesthetics and proper pain medication allow the procedure to be performed without discomfort. The procedure will also relieve you from pain caused by the infection. Having a root canal procedure done will allow you to enjoy all the foods you love without any pain from heat, cold, or biting too hard. If your dentist had recommended a root canal please contact us or call for an appointment at (937) 278-0703.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are a permanent and appealing solution to replace missing or extracted teeth. They are better than other alternatives like bridges because no additional teeth need to be altered to place the new tooth. The entire implant process is performed over the course of a few months. The first part of the process is to install the implant itself. Multiple implants can be placed at once if necessary. The implant must be allowed to heal for about 3 months. During this healing time, you can have temporary crowns installed so that you can eat and speak normally and maintain a proper aesthetic appearance for your smile. After the implant has healed, it is time to place an abutment on the implant. The abutment serves as the base for your new tooth. One this is placed an impression of the abutment is taken and is used to create your permanent restoration. Your smile will look just like it used to, and the implant will feel just like one of your own teeth. Dental Bridges

Dental bridges are a great way to replace missing teeth and restore your smile. Your existing teeth are used to literally create a bridge to cross the area where your tooth is missing. A Bridge is non-removable and stays in your mouth permanently. It is cosmetically pleasing and looks natural. We also fabricate Maryland bridges (aka Resin bonded bridges or Encore bridges) which are conservative bridges and can be metal free. If you are missing a tooth and would like it to be replaced in a way that looks and feels great, please contact us or call for more details at (937) 278-0703.

Dentures

Dentures are a replacement for missing teeth that can be removed and put back into your mouth as you please. We utilize the best material, techniques and labs to fabricate natural looking and well fitting dentures. We only offer premium dentures that are well fitting and natural looking, unlike many offices which offer ‘economy’ dentures. Depending on each individual patient case, they may receive full or partial dentures. Full dentures are used when all of the natural teeth are removed from the mouth and replaced with a full set of dentures. Partial dentures are another option when not all of your teeth need to be removed. This is similar to a bridge, but it is not a permanent fixture in your mouth. Our office fabricates immediate dentures, which are dentures placed in your mouth on the same day your teeth are pulled so you NEVER go without teeth. We can also fabricate implant retained dentures which snap into implants and do not move. If you want to learn about receiving well fitting, natural looking dentures priced competitively, please contact us or call for more details at (937) 278-0703.

Dental Crowns

Crowns are the restoration of choice when a filling will no longer suffice. Once a filling occupies 50% or more of the width of a tooth, a crown is indicated. Crowns surround the tooth bracing it together, whereas a large filling acts as a wedge, weakening the tooth. Teeth with large fillings are prone to breaking or splitting. There are different types of crowns available and we utilize the crown that best fits your dental situation. We can fabricate crowns that are all porcelain with no underlying metal to avoid the unsightly black line you may have seen and to color match the crown to seamlessly blend with your smile, please contact us or call for more details at (937) 278-0703.

Tooth Extractions

Although permanent teeth are meant to last a lifetime, there are a number of reasons why tooth extractions are necessary. Trauma, decay, and infection are common reasons for pulling teeth. If a tooth is non-restorable and requires being pulled, we perform most extractions here in our office. Only extremely complicated extractions, like impacted wisdom teeth, are referred out to specialists. If you are unsure on whether or not a tooth needs extracted please contact us or call for more details at (937) 278-0703.

White Fillings

In the past, teeth were filled with a mixture—or amalgam—of different metals. While some dentists still use silver/mercury amalgam, Dr. Sanjeevan has not used it in many years. Every filling we place in our office is free of mercury and are tooth-colored fillings that will blend seamlessly with the tooth. These fillings are virtually invisible and most importantly safe and predictable, please contact us or call for more details at (937) 278-0703.

Dental Hygiene/Periodontal Health

Preventive dental care helps keep dental costs low and protects patients against dental disease or catches problems in an early stage. Prevention and treatment of gum disease (periodontitis) is essential to healthy teeth, gum and bone tissues. Through regular dental cleanings and exams, we can evaluate any existing disease and recommend therapy.

Oral Cancer Screenings

Oral cancer screenings are a very important part of the dental visit for the patient. In the USA alone, one person dies of oral cancer each hour of every day. Every cleaning patient at our office receives an oral cancer exam as part of their dental exam.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Veneers are an excellent way to redesign and reshape your entire mouth or a single tooth. Veneers are a very thin ceramic shell that covers your existing tooth structure. In placing these new veneers on your teeth, you are able to fix the look of issues such as staining, cracked teeth, spaces, misaligned teeth, chipped teeth and many other issues. Veneers are more durable than conventional bonding. Because they are made of porcelain, they are very strong and are resistant to staining and chipping. An additional advantage of porcelain veneers is that they are a more conservative procedure than crowns. If you want to know if porcelain veneers are the right solution for you, please contact us or call for more details at (937) 278-0703.

Invisalign™

We are proud to offer our patients Invisalign™. Invisalign™ offers patients a transparent alternative to traditional metal frame braces. The invisible attribute is a result of a smooth, clear, specialized plastic of which the Invisalign aligner is formed. The aligner lacks the metal, visible, components of traditional braces and allows patients to feel confident wearing them. Invisalign gives patients flexibility while wearing them. Unlike wearing traditional metal frame braces, patients are not limited in the foods they can enjoy while straightening their teeth with Invisalign™. The aligner, although, must be removed during meals, regular brushing and flossing, and for dental examinations. With the Invisalign™ offering, we can help patients decide which orthodontic option is best for their cosmetic dental needs.
